Purpose: The purpose of w3schools is to create simplified and interactive learning experiences involving web development.

The website's homepage has 6 errors and 3 warnings when I checked it with the validator.


2. Find any other page on the site. Does the second page validate?
Another page on the site that I navigated to was "Tutorials --> LEARN HTML". This page had many errors and warnings as I validated it.


3. Document how many validation errors and/or warnings may exist on each of the two pages you validate.
The home page had 6 errors and 3 warnings while the second page I validated had 16 errors and 5 warnings.


4. How would you rate the site's design, on a scale of 1(horrible) to 10 (fantastic)? Why?
On a scale of 1-10, I would rate the design a 7. I give this website design a 7 because it is easy on the eyes and the colors are coordinated. I like the fact that the tabs are on the top of the page, but having it on the left side of the page would also work for me.


5. How would you rate the site's usability on a scale of 1 (horrible) to 10 (fantastic)? Why?
On a scale of 1-10, I would rate the usability an 8 or 9. The page is really easy to understand and navigate around. The bolded or different sized headers and words really help differentiate the important topics on this website.


6. Does the site meet its purpose?
Yes, the site meets its purpose. The purpose was to create a simplified and interactive learning experience involving web development as well as other coding languages. The website has many tutorials and videos that help teach the languages that you want to learn.
